Bottom End Inspection

Our system can also perform bottom end inspections on each product after bottom forming, expanding hot end inspection to also include the following features

  • Radius, diameter, and elephant foot measurements
  • Product length measurement
  • Surface control detection
  • Image stabilisation due to chuck vibration
  • Vibrating chuck detection

Integration

The Hot End Dimensional Control Station can be seamlessly integrated into the existing vertical production machines and is typically applied right after head or bottom forming. By utilising the rotation provided by the chucks, no additional moving parts are required in the system.

The retrofit approach allows for flexible adaptation to trigger signals and ejection actuators.

The electronics can be housed in a small cabinet or integrated into the HMI monitor to accommodate tighter space constraints. It fully integrates with other Isotronic products and provides production performance data to Isotronic Central.
